Here’s an interesting stat... WebDAM – a leading force in cloud-based management of digital files – recently released an infographic stating that B2B companies that blog generate 67% more leads than those that don’t.

That’s a pretty significant statistic, right? So how do blogs help boost lead generation?

Blogging makes you seem expert:

Blogging is a great way to position yourself as leading in your field. By having an opinion, you position yourself as expert, which adds to your credibility – a sure way to win over potential customers who are comparing you and your competitors.

Blogs make your website more visible:

Using keywords in your blogs that your customers are searching for will make your website more likely to show up in online search, drawing in more new prospects.

Interesting blog posts keep customers coming back:

A blog that is genuinely useful and interesting to your customers creates a reason for them to keep checking in on your website – keeping them engaged and your brand front-of-mind.

Great blogs get shared:

Devotees of your blog are also likely to share it via social media and email, leading to greater awareness of your brand.

‘Expert’ blogs find their way into the press:

Blogs that are well researched and written are often followed by journalists – a great way to get your brand into the media for free.

If you’ve been thinking about creating a blog for your business (or you have one languishing!), but you don’t have the time to manage it yourself, get it touch – we’d love to help.
